Regarding Property Space use for Business Purpose by Co-owners
Dear Advocate,
I have a space of 1000 sq.ft. This is a joint property. I have two more owner of
this property. Our two owner do there business in this space / property. But they
didn’t give me anything for this space / property. No I have not any agreement
with my co-owners regarding to give money for using our sharer property. But, If
my co-owners are using my space also for doing their business is they can give me
a rent for my portion? Please clarify.
Regards,
Subhojit Saha.

If you are joint owners, you all have equal rights to the entirety of the space: it is not divided into separate zones for each of you unless you have some agreement to that effect. And none of you have to pay the others rent for using space which you all have the right to access, again, unless you have an agreement (e.g. some use and occupancy) agreement among you to that effect.
