Removing a spouse from a title/deed
I live in Lake co. Indiana. My name is on the mortgage but my spouse is only
named on the title. I’m going through bankruptcy and she would like her name off
the title. How can this be done? She has no financial responsibility for the
mortgage.

A quitclaim deed will release your spouse's entire right, title, and interest in the property to you.
A quitclaim deed is signed in the presence of a notary. The quitclaim deed becomes effective upon being recorded (filed with the County Recorder's office).
