Should companies reimburse part-time employees for cell minutes and texts used for business purposes?
Mine says no because my plan has unlimited talk and text, yet they use it all the time. They even direct employees to call me to trouble shoot for them.

Arguably, they "should" reimburse their part-time employees, in the sense that it would be the right or moral thing to do. However, employers are not, unfortunately, required to reimburse staff (part- or full-time) for use of cell minutes or text messages, just as they do not have to reimburse them for travel or commuting costs, dry cleaning for suits or uniforms, any tools or equipment or other supplies (e.g. calendar books) the employees may either choose to or have to buy, etc. Some companies voluntarily choose to reimburse; but others do not, and the law does not make them.
