What to do if the pharmacy gave my mother an expired prescription medicine?
I just recently got the medicine and my mother was using it for 3 days before she noticed that the medicine box has an expiration date of 9 months ago. I just want to know what action can we take against the pharmacy/pharmacist?

I suggest that you have a face to face meeting with the pharmacist from where the medication was obtained to discuss the problem and what can be done to resolve the problem. First is the refund of the money paid for the prescription. If your mother received no ill effects as a result then her only recourse would be the refund of what was paid for the out dated medication.
