There isn't any required period of time for a response from the adjuster, but the adjuster should respond within a reasonable time. The demand letter can request a response within a certain period of time.
If the adjuster hasn't responded within a reasonable time such as a couple of weeks, the attorney should call the adjuster to check on the status of the demand letter and when a response can be expected from the adjuster.
