My ex husband owes taxes from 2001. I was married to him from 2000 to early 2003. Can I be held liable for those taxes? We lived in Colorado then and I now live in Illinois.

Federal taxes, state taxes? What were the taxes for? Were you separated from him during that time? You may be equally liable for the taxes. Try reviewing the following:
