I was placed on administrative leave from a
charter high school pending investigation. They
didnt tell me what they are investigating or
when I could expect resolution. When do they
have to tell me and when should I consider an
attorney?

The fact is that there is no statutory timeframe for being placed on adminstrative leave. Further, you need not be informed as to the reason for being placed on such leave. The fact is that most eployment relationships are "at will" which means that a worker can be disciplined for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice. Accordingly, unless this action violates the terms of a union agreement/employment contract or in some way constitutes a form of legally actionable discrimination, you have no claim here.
