If you have an accident while driving someone else’s car, how can you protect them from being sued?
I hit a car today in a parking lot as I was trying to park. I do not have a license to drive and the car hadn’t been insured yet. My boyfriend the one who bought the car might be sued because his name is on the police report even though he wasn’t there. I don’t want him to get sued is there anything I can do? Can I take the blame for everything without it effecting him?

Since you were at fault in the accident while driving your boyfriend's car, there isn't anything you can do to protect him from being sued because as the registered owner of the vehicle, he is liable for the accident even though he wasn't present when it occurred.
