Must an employer reimburse a worker for travel and tolls?

The employer has the employees drive to other sites acquiring tolls and mileage but they will not reimburse them. Also, training goes unpaid with the mileage.

Unless there exits an employment contract or union agreement that requires reimbursement for tolls and mileage, an employer is not legally required to reimburse a worker for these expenses. However, as for training time, if you are an hourly employee and the training is required by your employer (i.e. it is mandatory), then that time constitutes work time for which you must be paid.
