It's hard to say, but it might be best if the person didn't wait for someone with a badge to show up, but got in touch with whoever his contact person was, to find out if there was something he could do to make it right.  He might still get arrested, but coming forward and showing some understanding of having messed up might buy the person some slack.

And it probably wouldn't hurt to discuss this with an attorney.  Reliable advice has to be based on a lot of facts that I don't have, such as what the original offense was, and the other parts of the sentence;  also, I'm not a Florida lawyer, and sometimes even the county makes a difference on things like this.  One place to find counsel is our website, http://attorneypages.com
