If we couldn’t pay our taxes and now there is a court date to sell our land, what do we do/expect?
We sold a truck and now have the money. I need to know what to do. Can we just pay the taxes? The tax office won’t take the money because it has gone to a lawyers office but we can’t get a call back from them. What do we need to do before the court date? Do we need a lawyer? Can we pay it before then and end this mess?

If you now have the money to pay the property taxes of your property that is subject to a tax sale, I would immediately contact a real estate attorney about the situation and go down to the county tax assessor's office and pay what is owed well before the tax sale date. Make sure that you get a receipt for the past due payment and some paper work stating that the tax sale date has been cancelled.
I would have the real estate attorney follow up with a confirming letter to the tax assessor's office regarding such.
