The ABS warning light was on (we were unaware that it was a warning light). The salesperson did see the panel when he drove it. Also, the main computer is out and causes the car to die while driving; this did not happen during the brief test drives. Our mechanic says that all codes in the computer prior to our purchase have been erased, suggesting that the problems were known. There was no disclosure of either problem at the time of purchase, both are major safety issues.
