What are my rights regarding termination?

I worked as the front of house/bar manager for a small fine dining restaurant. My father (the chef) and my brother (a server) worked with me as well. Outside of work, my brother and I had personal problems which resulted in a police report being filed and my brother moving with my father. Since then, I have been bullied by my brother and father at work. They made it really hard for me to maintain a professional attitude when they clearly were not. Yesterday my father said “I’m going to get your fired”. Later that day I was fired without reason or any write ups. Can I legally request paperwork showing my bad performance leading up to my termination? What if they refuse?

I'm afraid that you have probably no legal recourse here regarding your termination (nor any rights to review paperwork, etc).  The reason being that most employment arrangements "at will"; meaning that you can choose to work for an employer or not and an employer can hire or fire you for any reason, no reason, or even a poor reason.  While seemingly unfair it's the law.  Exceptions would be if this action was not allowed by virtue of an employment/union contract or official company policy statement.  Also, discrimination must not have played a role in your termination.  Absent any of these circumstance your firing was lawful.
