What are the chances that charges will be pressed against me and my friend’s for simple trespassing if charges were not pressed at the time it occurred?

My 2 friends and I, all seniors in college, trespassed onto the grounds of a seminary with the intent to observe the buildings out of pure curiosity. By no means did we intend to harm or damage any property. The police were called but the head of the seminary security decided not to press charges. We were not handcuffed but our names were written down. What are the chances that in the future we will get cited for this?

If you were not cited at the time the trespass incident occurred where law enforcement was called and the head of the seminary security did not want charges pressed against you and your cohorts, and no citation was issued at the time, there is a pretty good chance that none will be issued later on.

What will be telling is whether or not you and your friends return to the seminary without permission. I suggest that you do not and learn the lesson that you presumably have learned about trespassing.
