What do I do if I am in a Will and have not received what I was left?
A friend passed away last year and his son’s wife told me I was left money and she wanted her husband to tell me. I have not heard anything since then and feel that it is inappropriate asking the son. What can I do?

I am so sorry for your loss. If you were left anything in the Will you should have been notified of the intent of the Executor to offer the Will for probate. If you have heard nothing then I might check the Probate court in the county in which he resided at the time of his death for any proceeding that has been filed. Good luck.
