What do i do if i don’t want to testify?

My fiancee and brother got into an
argument and ended up fighting we were
drinking and i said things i shouldn’t
have. I said i would testify and i
really don’t want to what can i do?

If you are subpeonaed to testify in court, then you must appear. If you do not, then a warrant for your arrest can be issued and you can face jail time and/or severe fines. If, on the other hand, you re not served a subpeona, then you need not attend if you choose not to.
