What do I do if the plaintiff files an exception to my response?
An attorney for a bank is suing us for money we owe them but cannot pay at this time. They recieved a judgement and we filled out all the paperwork about assets and wages for the sheriff. I am self employed and I assume the attorney believe we are lying about our wages and assets. However we are not. What should we do?

If the plaintiff files an exception, you can always provide additional proof if you have not already so provided to the court and there will be a hiring most likely to discuss payment schedules, any new negotiatoins to lower total debt owed and other options. If you have no assets or income to help pay this off, consider discussing this matter with legal aid in your town. You should be able to have at least a free consultation and see if anything can be done to help thi smatter out, including delaying any collection efforts.
