Collective bargaining is a process of negotiation between employees and a group of employers. it is aimed at agreements to regulate working salaries. The employees are typically presented by representatives of a trade union to which the employees belong. A collective bargaining agreement, is a written contact for a specified time period (usually 1 year), between the management of a company/business and its employees represented by a trade union. It basically lays out and defines wages, working hours, PTO, and other working conditions/benefits and the process for dispute resolution. It is also called a union agreement.
