What law dictates that a mortgage company has to send me my mortgage statement?
I was awarded a Chapter 7 about 9 months ago, however, I did not include my house in the bankruptcy. I keep calling and writing for a mortgage statement but the mortgage company claims sending the statement might be seen as a violation of the bankruptcy automatic stay on collection and they don’t want to run afoul with bankruptcy laws.

They are right. Not including the house in the bankruptcy was not right. Until you reaffirm, they are doing the right thing.
