What should I do about someone holding my belongings and not returning them?
My stepmother kicked me out 7 months ago and has held half of my belongings all this time. She refuses to return them no matter how many times I ask or try to make plans to get my stuff.

You should consider suing her for trespass and conversion. This way, you may not be able to get your property back but at least will be compensated for the value of the property.
