What should I do if I was a passenger in a single car accident on the freeway and left the scence before the police arrived?

The driver and owner of the vehicle was arrested for possession of a dangerous drug and the police found drugs under the passenger seat. Also, a witness stated that I was the passenger and led the scene. The police pulled my profile up from some of my belongings that I left in the car, like my cell phone.

Only an at-fault driver in an accident is in trouble for leaving the scene of an accident.  Technically, anyone who witnesses an accident in Arizona is supposed to stay to give their account, but you likely will not be prosecuted for leaving if you were only a passenger/witness.  Likewise, they are not going to be able to arrest you for possession.
