If a person used the name of some other person when arrested and went to jail using another person's name, sooner or later law enforcement will ascertain the improper representation of that person's identity and bigger problems will result for the person identifying himself or herself as the wrong person as to who they really are.
Possible additional charges would be lying to law enforcement, representation of false identity with enhancement charges in the event of any conviction.
If you do not have a criminal defense attorney representing you in this matter, you should consult with one right away.
