When a person dies with a Will, how long does it take for the assets to be distributed?
My husband inherited money when his grandmother passed away 9 months ago and still hasn’t received it. How long does it normally take to distribute assets?

I am so sorry for your loss. Generally speaking, distribution of estate assets depends on the size and complexity of the estate. Although somestates do require that estates be filed and probated wth in a certain amount of time, there is always flexibility. Your husband should inquire as to the status of the estate and see if a partial distribution can be done. Good luck.
