When an employee quits, must you pay them within a certain time or is it OK to pay them on the next scheduled payday?
The employee worked 12/12 and 12/13. The next pay ending date is 12/24 with payday on 12/29.

While many states have specific laws regarding this, FL does not. Therefore, so long as it is reasonable, an employee's last paycheck can be paid at any time. Accordingly, paying them on the next scehduled payday is perfectly permissable.
