Good question. If you are selling a home and want to keep the woodstove in the home or sell it as part of the transaction, you can do so. However, as a precaution, it is best that if the wood stove is not being sold, that the purchase contract clearly state so. If the wood stove is being sold, then the purchase contract should say so as well and a price for the stove be clearly set in writing.
