Who owes me my security deposit?
I rented a home, which at the time was ran through a property manager. From the
time I gave my 30 day notice to right before I moved out, the owner of the house
fired the property manager. Who is responsible for returning my security
deposit? I signed a lease with the property manager, and the owner is saying that
company is responsible for my deposit.

Whomever was defined in your lease as "the landlord" is responsible for returning it: the lease is a contract, and like any other contract, binds the parties to it. So your security deposit should come back from the named landlord, and that would be who you sue for it if not returned.
