Good question. Under most statutes of all states in this country a basis DUI/DWI conviction is a misdemeanor. Under the laws of all states, most misdemeanor convictions do not in and of themselves preclude the convicted person from seeking eligibility to carry a concealed weapon.
Had you been convicted of a felony, then you might be disqualified from seeking a license to carry a concealed weapon in your state of residence.
