Should we separate or divorce, will I be held liable legally for half of the house payment?
My name is not on our mortgage loan. However it is on the deed along with my spouses’ name.

No, a mortgage loan is like any other contract: only the person(s) who are parties to it (i.e. who are on the loan and sign it) are obligated to it. You could lose the house, if the loan is not paid, since if it is not paid, the lender may foreclose, but you are not personally liable for the loan and cannot be sued for the money.
