Will the state of south carolina still pick up the case or not?

What happens if charges were pressed against you for breaking and entering an auto but were dropped by the victim a day or so later because it was a mistake?

It is up to the state to drop charges, not the alleged victim. That having been said, if there is not enoughother evidence to get a conviction, the case won't go forward. It all depends on the details as to whether or not the state will proceed with prosecution. At this point, you really should consult with a criminal law attorney if you have not already done so.
