What should I do if I was working for a limo company and had an accident 8 months ago but now I am being sued for almost 2 million dollars?

! thought that the company’s insurance took care of it. Should I worry about it and what is the best move for me now?

If you were operating the vehicle with in the scope of your employment then you should absolutely be covered by the limo company's insurance. Attorneys have to name the driver of the vehicle individually as well as the company and the $2 million dollar claim (known as the ad damnum clause) has to be a large amount because under the law you can be limited to the amount you can collect by that clause. Call the company and send them a letter by certified mail with the papers you received (keep a copy) and ask them to forward their insurance information for you to follow up with the carrier.  The carrier will assign an attorney on your behalf. You may want to consult an attorney in your area to be on baord just in case. Good luck.
